Terms of use
Payday Super Checker (this website and its calculators) is operated by the owner of Payday Super Checker (Melbourne, Australia) ("we", "us").
What this software does
This is general information and self-serve software only. The calculators apply the published rules they show (ATO guidance for super, and state long service leave laws for long service leave) to the figures you enter. They do not assess your circumstances, and they do not decide whether a worker is an employee or which payments count as ordinary time earnings or qualifying earnings. We are not a registered tax agent or BAS agent and do not provide tax agent or BAS services.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the figures you enter, and for your own lodgement and payment.
Estimates
Any figure that relies on an assumption is marked "estimate only". The ATO has the final say on what you owe.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
Limits on our liability
Only to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from figures you entered or from your lodgement or payment decisions. Where the law allows our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee to be limited, it is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
Paid plans
Paid plans are not available yet and no payment is taken. Prices shown are what we plan to charge, in Australian dollars including GST.
Governing law
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
